Dear people,

As the title says I'm looking for your expert opinion about the Advantage arms Glock 22lr conversion kit.

Is it good and useful? And the most important question: where to buy it?

One extra:
I have a Glock 17 gen. 3.5. Is the new Glock 22 RTF2 version is just a gen 3.5 or is it really gen 4 with some internal changes? (which would make the above conversion kit useless with it)

Thanks for your time and shared knowledge,
Rudi

It's the best .22 conversion made for the Glock. I love mine. Epps carries them so does Williams Arms. There's a good deal on the EE right now for $350. He is willing to part out his Glock 17 package. Check under pistols for sale.

Police Ordinance has them in stock.
From my limited experience with the kit it is indeed useful.
I'm pretty sure it will indeed work with the Gen4's.

I have a sub calibre for my 22g, I love it. It allows you to practice a lot with your main gun, which gets the muscle memory working, extends your shooting time, saves money, smoothes out triggers, it's all good.

+1 to that. Mine is great. It wouldn't fire maybe one out of ten when I bought it, regardless of ammo. It went away after about 200 rounds or so...I guess it needed to break in.

The AA glock is really fun. More like a pellet gun than a firearm.:D It saves me from having to spend too much time reloading and shoot more to boot.

I can remember where I got mine for the life of me. I think I paid about $300 for it. Good purchase for sure.

I contacted Police Ordnance. The conversion kit is $439.00 plus taxes ($496.07).
Extra magazines are $59.95 plus taxes.

The one from EE gone for $350 a few minutes before I got the above prices from them. :(
