I just want to show off this gem and give a quick qualitative review.

I took it to the range for the first time and man it was sweet!

It fed all the commercial ammo just fine.

(FTE, FTF reloaded stuff from SFRC  )

I found it to be very easy to shoot. very smooth. not snappy at all!

Hands down my favorite glock!

Here are some pics at home:

Looks nice! I don't know how people can even shoot them though. I tried a Glock 27 and couldn't hit anything because of the poor grip. Ill take a G19 or G30 anyday.

Sweet little gun though! Rare find

Were you surprised? Its a Glock. Of course it will shoot, provided you do your part. The recoil is far less than one would expect that's for sure.

That's cool... I thought it was only old guns that were already in circulation when the law changed that could be traded. Unfortunately I am not 12.6 so perhaps I missed the basics.

Nice gun though.

Because it was imported in Canada before the cut off date of 1995.

Anyone want to sell theirs? ;)

.

Love the G26, hate the overhang on the barrels on our versions. I find it ridiculous that the law thinks it is any less concealable because there is a 3/4" of barrel sticking out the end.

The 27 is a 40 cal.. the 26 is 9mm and allot easyier to shoot.

Canadian Glock 26 Gen 4

I have been looking for a Gen 4 Block 26 for some time and couldn't wait and ended up purchasing a 17. Could you point me in the right direction to purchase one with the 106mm barrel?

Well I hate that it represents "bad laws."

Otherwise it doesn't bug me much.

The gun is tiny and it feels great and makes me smile. :)

Well the idea behind it was to ban "concealable" firearms, but in reality the effect it had was to push people into buying semi-automatic pistols because 4-inch barrel revolvers were prohibited.

Not that I agree with the law but if it had been enacted in a logical manner it would have said any handgun with a barrel or handgun barrel less than 100mm. How anyone can seriously say a S&W model 10 is favoured by criminals for any reason other than that there are a lot of them about is beyond my comprehension.

I don't really understand the reason behind buying a Glock 26/27/33 with a 106mm barrel to be honest, you can only use it for target shooting in Canada. I thought I was a bit strange for buying a Glock 23 the other day.
