Got my Glock 17 OD Green last week. Life is good...

Now I noticed that the 3/32" tool is used to disassemble parts of the slide and lower frame. That's nice. Why can't I use one of my many punches sitting on the workbench ?

Will my #### fall off if I don't buy the "Glock" marked 3/32" punch ?

Can I get by ? Using the 'Hungry' welfare approach ???

you must use the approved Glock Armourer's Tool, or every bad thing you have heard about Glocks will happen to you...

- it will melt in a hot car!
- it will KBoom!
- it will crack in the cold!
- it will turn to porcalain, ala Die Hard...

and it will all be your fault (and your dzck will fall off)!

It's a cool little tool, and doesn't cost much...

But a punch should work.

I used the plastic handle of a small model paint brush - plastic on plastic is ideal as metal "could" deform the holes if you were to slip or go at a weird angle (which is hard to do).

Enjoy!

Kiss yur #### goodbye...Then again, if you could do that you wouldnt be playing with your Glock!!:D
As stated above, anything of roughly the same diameter will do as a punch.
Cheers:)

No problem shipping to Canada.

I'm sorry but yes, the Surgeon General has reported that your d#ck will in fact fall completely off if you don't use the correct, Glock marked punch. A major side effect of this is tripping injuries. But then, what the hell does that guy know - one of them liked dressing up so much he designed his own uniform fer chrissakes. I think a plane jane punch probably functions identically - though it wouldn't be as tacticool :D

I second that !! :D

UPDATE !!

I DID NOT buy ONE of the Glock 3/32" tools. No Sireee... I bought TWO of them, especially $ 6.00 apiece.

Now I got double the insurance that my #### ain't gonna fall off.... :p

So now I can strip my Glock and replace the trigger springs with a 3.5lb spring kit from Brownells.

Okay, the Glock 3/32" factory marked "Glock" tools arrived. Now I know why they are needed to disassemble my G17 magazines. These tools are freakin' stiff to really drive out those pins, too. Wowsers !! I like this grip on the tool, sure does not dig into my hands like my existing pin punches found on my work bench. Amazing!! Life is good.
