Glock 3.5 trigger connector

The connector is easy to install if you know how to take a glock apart. The trigger pull is lighter but longer. Yes longer. It is a glock factory connector.

I have a factory 3.5 and I don't find it to be any longer in the pull, it is definitely lighter for longer if that makes any sense. The install was a breeze, but as hal1955 said. It helps when you know how to disassemble them. Try www.topglock.com for complete disassembly photos and tutorial o buy one of the online videos available.

I have installed several - very easy to do if you are patient have the proper resources. Definately have a tutorial with pics next to you when you do it the first few times, just to make sure you are doing it right (ESPECIALLY when removing pins, should only be done in a certain direction).

Guys at some of the other sites, namely glocktalk, have reported mixed reviews on some of the aftermarket connectors. I would recommend sticking with the factory glock part (this is a must if you are doing the mod for IPSC Production).

As they say...a cinch to install if you have a pictorial beside you. I found it greatly improved the trigger pull and I didn't notice if it was any longer. I used and would recommend an Alchemy Arms after market connector if they are still available.

you might as well install a Titaniun striker with a 3.5lbs wolff striker spring, then you will experience a very nice trigger pull. the best trigger pull you can have in a Glock.

Do you mean that you should just change the striker, or change the striker and the connector to lighten the trigger pull to 3.5#? I always thought that it was the connector that was the critical component in changing the trigger pull in a Glock?

If you're shooting Production, you'll want to be careful about doing anything more than swapping the connector. My G17 had a pretty decent feeling trigger (for a Glock) and changing to a 3.5lb connector brought the pull down to 5lb 5oz. I wouldn't want to go much lower for a Production gun since it's hard to get a consistent reading on a trigger pull gauge with the Glock trigger. If you get checked at a match, you don't want to be under. On my G35, putting in the Wolff 4lb striker spring with the 3.5lb connector brought the trigger pull down to 4lb 8oz without any polishing of parts. Not sure if a titanium striker would bring it down even more. Some after market trigger kits (Vanek and Sotelo) claim to get the trigger down to 2lb. Haven't tried those, but that's only an option if you're shooting Standard or Open anyway. Changing the striker spring is kind of a mixed bag anyway. I didn't like the feel it gave me with the G17 (too spongy), but it feels pretty OK in the G35. YMMV.
