What are the pro's and con's between these two? 36 seems to be a fair bit smaller overall, 4mm narrower saves 100 grams. Lower capacity however. Where the 30sf doesn't lose any capacity (here anyway ) off of the 21sf. Will 21sf magazines fit in either gun? From Questar, both are priced roughly the same, 30sf with barrel for $1099 and 36 slim, for $899 and you need to buy a barrel. Tomato, tamatoe

The 36 magazine is single-stack and has proprietary magazines which are comparatively rare. They have had mixed reviews.

The 30 and 30SF, which will accept the 21 magazine, have been much better received and are much more common.

Perhaps the choice between the three should come down to which feels better in your hand.

You can put a 36 slide on a 30: termed a 3036 because you get the best of both worlds, high capacity and slimmer pistol. I found that interesting but have never tried it but reports on GT are favorable. I'd buy a 30sf as the 21sf mags work just fine. In the USA, that is 13 rounds of .45acp in a nice, small package.
