Glock 35, any thoughts?

Hey. I have one. Had it for over a year. A few rounds thru it (maybe 2k) I don't shoot much. Anyhow, it has the 3.5# trigger, extended mag release and extended slide stop thingy... 
(don't know the name of that)...
Shoots well, I usually don't shoot further than 25yds with it. Accurate. etc. etc. etc. Good gun all around.
Here is a pic of the glock and some other's at our last BC CGN outing....
Got to try a G17 & a G21 that day. All are nice and easy to shoot.

Oh... and another thing. When you get a .40 glock (like the G35), you can get a .357SIG BBL and you'll have 2 guns in one (almost)

I purchased a G35 a few months ago. I like it but I find I use my G17 more. The G35 is more muzzle heavy than the G17 because of the longer barrel and slide. The longer slide also gives you an increased sight radius but I find the accuracy about the same as the G17. The .40 cal has more recoil than the 9mm but not much. In hindsight I should have purchased the G34 instead because I prefer the 9mm.

I've got a Gen 2 G17 and a Gen 3 G34 although I've never fired a .40 Glock so I can't really speak to the differences there. I can shoot the G34 noticeably better than the G17 past 15m or so, and from 15m in I've found they're about the same. I was surprised at the difference in the feel--the G34 points just a little bit slower than the G17, but, for me, it wasn't objectionable, just different. I like overall feel of the 5.3" barrel, not too muzzle heavy but nicely balanced, and the 3.5lb trigger helps with the longer shots. Overall, for a typical match with a mix of ranges from 7m to 50m, my scores are about 10% or 15% better with the G34, with most of the improvement at the longer ranges.

I have a g35 as well and luv it. FInd it shoots out to 50 yards fairly accurately, probably better than I can shoot it. No complaints.
The G35 is more pleasant, and in my hands, easier and more accurate to shoot than the G22...lighter trigger, longer sight radius, etc...
I must admit though, unless you had your heart set on 40S&W, I would instead recomment the G34... the same, but even more of a sweetheart in the milder 9 MM.
