does anyone have a glock 37? if so, what is it like. i want to get one as the grip is nice, but would like some info. on it. thanks!!

Loved them both... (gone through 2)

Ammunition is expensive and at the time was hard to get... better now from what I understand.

If .45GAP were as cheap as say .40S&W I'd be all over it and never look back :)

I have a G37 and love it. Ammo is cheap as hell, I reload! Gone through about 3K rounds so far of all different types of bullets from 185gr. to 230gr. The gun handles very well and I shoot it very well. I also own a G17 and G22 so it isn't my first Glock, I wanted a .45 but found the G21 was like a big brick, even though I have very large hands I still hated the way it felt, so I took the plunge and got a .45 with the same size frame as my other glocks!

I have fired the following factory loads:
Speer 185gr. GDHP
Speer 200gr. GDHP
Win WB 230gr. HP
Win. Ranger 230gr. SXT T series

All these loads are equal to or slightly hotter than equiviliant .45ACP loads, there is plenty of power in this short little cartridge, as chronied by me during my many range sessions.

My impressions have been very good so far. I find myself shooting it more and more, its quickly growing on me. I plan to shoot my first IPSC match using it in February so we'll se how that goes, I've always used a .40 for IPSC in the past but wanted to use a larger caliber.

Factory ammo is still pretty pricey as G37 pointed out, but if you reload, its simple to reload and the brass is strong, easily taking max loads (once you've worked up properly). I like Titegroup powder so far and am just starting to play with 230gr. hollowpoints and Winchester 231. I'll let you know how it goes.

Hope this helps, any more questions, fire them away.

Is there any particular reason why Glock does not offer a G37C (compensated) they seem to offer a ''C'' version of pretty much everything else. Considering the recoil of a 45 it would most likely improve secon shot grouping... so why not? Pressure?
