Anyone out there in CGN land know where a guy and find a Glock 40-9 barrel that won't take months to get.
Is there any difference in barrels between Gen4 and previous models?
Yes, Ellwood Epps has an IGB Glock 22 40-9 conversion barrel, brand new, for $280 in their "Discounted Accessories" / Barrels section. I finally asked which model it was, and they updated the listing. The barrel has been there forever without anyone ever asking...

That is interesting. I heard that the IGB barrels were tenifer coated and of a high quality. I have had mixed results with the Lone Wolf conversion barrels, one was good but the black coating came off quite quickly and the other one had an undersized chamber so only factory ammo ran reliably in it, it would only take about 30% of my reloads. Lone Wolf said I could send it back and they would open it up a little.
$280 for a barrel? No wonder no one will buy it.
It would be cheaper to buy a new G17 and keep the slide assembly and sell the frame.I have an IGB 40-9 barrel. It is not installed because I need a G17 extractor(?). It does not have a slight offset like the drop-in LW 40-9 conversion barrel.
The IGB is match grade with traditional rifling. I will check the booklet later.
I guess this forces me to learn how to disassemble Glocks,,,
