Glock 41 anyone?

What's to know...it's a Glock and works just like every other one. It just has a longer barrel and slide. Go for it if you like it.

The only thing I perhaps might ding it with is the necessarily larger frame compared with my G34. Feels a bit plankish 1-handed. A 2handed grip is fine, though. I just put some mild texture Falcon Grips on it last night, since they were on sale when I was ordering parts. I like em. Going to put the matching set on my G34 tonight.

Looks a damn site nicer than the 21, I'll say. That's reason enough to buy it if you want a 45ACP Glock ;)

Glad you love the 41 stefofthenorth, will be my 1st too btw. Where did you purchase it? Did you get good service from the shop?

@ Mark-II: Mark any truth to the rumour that the 41 has more felt recoil than the 21? I was expecting the 41 to be smoother shooter, making for a faster follow up shot/double tap but it seems the 41 is slightly lighter than the 21 so apparently heavier felt recoil? As for the Falcon grips, I have never tried those on but with my medium/large size hands sometimes extra grips bump the size of the grips to an unmanageable/uncomfortable size.

TYVM both of you

Saw a bit of a "demo" on Wild TV, that said the slide dimensions are the same as a G34/35, however the frame is slightly wider, but from what they said it will work in most holsters, it's a little snug. All said and done it's a Glock, it will function and last, nuff said. Good Luck.

just keep in mind the accuracy hickok45 gets, is probably NOT the accuracy you'll get, lol

I picked up at Al Flarhertys ... Great service and decent price I think I paid 930 taxes in .. I have been really happy with it , I find the recoil very minimal.

I've not shot a 21, and I'm just a casual sort of plinker. I've big hands and long fingers, myself.

The falcon grips are really just akin to anti-slip grip tape and so are very thin. I shot a guys Glock 20 once and with the hogue (pachmyers?) rubber sleeve the grip was stupid thick and even more plank-like.

I like both of my Glocks but if I had to decide to keep only one it'd be the G34.
