Glock 48 pistols in Canada 2 models to choose from...

I get that but again, the guy from glock tells me noone has them in Canada or if they do they are not covered by the warranty... risk I don't want to take on a brand new platform.

Hello, who do I talk to if I want a quote for a G48 with a total of 6 mags?
Is it long to get?
The guy from Glock said that G48's that are now in Canada would not be covered by warranty... is that Bull####?

You already asked this question and got an answer.
They are covered by Glock USA . Any warranty issue you my have will be handled by IRG .
They will send the gun to the Glock US warranty depot if required .
 
yes i get that, it was just to know if he was saying ####... and to be honnest, the way that Glock guy answered me, i doubt i'm gonna go ahead and buy a fifth Glock... i'm a strong believer in respect in costumer service! if a rep decides to answer me in a rude and impolite manner, my response is to stop buying his stuff! it's the only way they can understand that WE put food on their family's table by bying their guns!! i spent over 5000$ in Glock's guns and gear, i wont tolerate them being impolite!!

Well that explains it .
Technically speaking he is correct .
They will not honor any warranty on a pistol not purchased from a Canadian dealer .
But that dose not mean you have no warranty if you purchase one from IRG .
If you purchase from IRG and should you in the unlikely event need warranty work done I'm betting you will see much better customer service from Glock USA than Glock Canada . & even though IRG has to send the gun back to the US for repair it will be quicker than having it repaired in Canada .
Not to mention you are not out of pocket any shipping expenses for this work .

Thank you for the input. Right now I'm so upset that a comercial representative answers clients so impolitely that I'm thinking of selling the 4 Glock pistols I already own!
One day this person should get it thru his head that if we don't buy pistols he doesn't have a job! In my mind being a rep means taking care of the customer, not telling him to give him a break when his products are 2 months late going on 3...

I'm not a Glock fan myself & have no desire to become one :rolleyes:
My comments were mainly on warranty through IRG

Edited my post because I forgot to mention NEVER jump on any dealers preorder gimmick if you expect the gun to arrive when they say it will ! :rolleyes:
If you don't mind excuses & delays a preorder will eventually get you what you ordered .
