I'm not going to buy one now since I'm new to shooting a Glock but in the near future I would like to buy one. Who in Canada would carry the Guncrafter Industries 50 cal conversion kit for the Glock 20 and 21 or would I have to import it in through IRUNGUNS or Prophet River.

Ok then I guess ill delete this post since no one knows.

Give it some time. I had never heard of this conversion before so I don't think it's common here. I had to look it up and I have to ask, where do you plan on getting ammo for this if you do get one? 50GI is not a common round.

You're not going to find any loaded 50GI anywhere in Canada, you'd have to buy brass from Guncrafter Industries as they are the only company who makes it.

Ya I'll just import the conversion kit brass bullets and dies through Prophet River hopefully one of our sponsors will bring them in one day maybe once they become more popular.

So if anyone cares I talked to Hornady and asked them if they can make a custom die set for the .50GI round to reload and they said yes if someone steps up which will probably be me to pay the $280 the will make the die set and then also they will keep it in stock if there is enough people that are interested which will be the US population and they will also look at carrying the brass and bullets.

I think they do I'll check with them on what there cost is and then maybe a sponsor would bring the dies, brass, bullets and conversion kits in.

If anyone if interested I have been talking with one of our sponsors and they are looking at possibly bringing all this in forsake on there website I'll let you know when or if it happens.

Sounds like something Wanstalls would get on board with. They seem to enjoy bringing in oddities.

I've not even looked up loading data or cast bullet compatibility. Sure couldn't afford to run jacketed stuff. I'm assuming its .501"..

Hey if I can get something in that everyone would buy the hey I'll do it. I'm a business man so this is the kind of stuff I do for a living.

I'd be very interested in a 50 Glock. sounds fun to me. Most fun/cool gun i ever owned was my 50 Desert Eagle. I'd also be into getting the dies if I could get a good line on brass/projectiles. Off to look at some load data now...

The Glock 50cal uses a totally different bullet then the dessert eagle it is shorter and has way less muzzle jump. If either or both companies bring it in they will also be bringing in ammo, dies the Guncraft Industries makes, brass and bullets plus l talked to Hornady and they said if I pay the $280 to build the first set of 4 dies then they will also produce them for sale through there sit I'm going to talk to Lee Percision and RCBS as well to see if they want on board.
