The striker wasn’t held up and the problem was my feed ramp. It’s worked perfect since I polished it. I couldn’t get through a mag previously without it jamming. I’m aware of the 22 Gen 5 slides being a lot heavier. Everyone automatically just assumed I was limp wristing until they actually witnessed me shoot it. They quickly realized I wasn’t. It’s not my first time using a handgun either. I’ve fired over 6000 rounds in the last two months alone from a variety of handguns including other Glocks. I’ve also taken a few courses with professional handgun shooters as well to help me brush up on some skills for competing. People just don’t seem to want to admit that although Glocks are great guns and I love them. They can have flaws also like any other manufacturer and this proved exactly that.
ahh man too bad you didn't get some pics before hand. yeah so far my .40 gen 5 has chewed through atleast 1000 rds, factory, reloads, hollow points, lead, and whatever else i had left over from my sig p226. Nothing hangs up on mine, you can let the slide home slowly with your hand and its butter smooth. The biggest complaint I have is that the finish is crap compared to gen 4.... may as well have painted everything.
