Hi CGN,

I am inquiring on how one would obtain a 6" barrel chambered in 9x25 Dillon for a Glock Model 40 MOS. I have contacted Questar, Lone Wolf, and Storm Lake. Questar was more than helpful on guiding me to contact Lone Wolf to find the proper product number, but Lone Wolf said that because they are switching over to their Alfa Wolf line, if could be a year before anything gets made. Storm lake said that they could not help me in making one of these barrels...

The only manufacturer that could make one for me is KKM. They said that they would be more than happy to do one and it would take about 6 weeks. Does anyone know of any Canadian importers that can bring in KKM barrels?

Do any of you CGN'ers happen to have a 9x25 Glock 6" barrel to sell me?? ;)

I am interested in the 9x25 Dillon just because I love to reload and.....why not? :p

Any information would be great.

Thanks,

why would you want 9x25 dillon? its a defunct cartridge that was used in practical shooting when the minimum power factor was much higher. that cartridge destroyed open guns after every season because the pressures were so high. i dont even want to know what it will do to the polymer frame of a glock... :|

The other question is, where do you obtain 9x25 brass from? And have you considered the other crazy cool vintage IPSC calibers, like 9x40, 9x21, and 9x23?

My Glock 40 is a Long slide 10mm. 10mm actually has a higher SAAMI maximum pressure than 9x25 Dillon. Just sayin'.

And as per my post "I am interested in the 9x25 Dillon just because I love to reload and.....why not?"

Thanks,

Nothing wrong with the 9x25. The polymer framed Glock will handle it better than a steel gun. The 40 is a great platform for the cartridge. I'd be interested in a barrel myself honestly.

That is a neat cartridge for sure. I'd get a conversion barrel too if it was avail (and if I was a reloader of course). From a 6" 40, a 147gr at 1500'/sec should be doable. A lot of fun at a range with a 100 yard gong.

That is what I was thinking! I can shoot steel out at my range to 200 yards, I have looked at the data and this cartridge is quite flat shooting.

No other suggestions? I am very determined to figure this out. I was hoping another experienced CGN brother would clarify the avenue to take! I appreciate all the positive responses to this thread.
