What kind of groups are you guys getting with your stock G17s? I brought the 226 and the G17 to the range with me the other day and the Sig was definately ahead of the G17 in terms of accuracy.

I have owned both a G17 and a P-226. The Sig is gone because I found the accuracy of my G17 better than the P-226. The lower bore axis of the Glock is what makes all the difference for me.

Ye gods, I suck.

2" at 10 yards, 100% on a classic popper not beyond about 25 yards.

But that's me, not the gun. Glocks don't have the world's best trigger, IMHO, but when you execute a good strigger press, they shoot as accurately as anything else.

Fit and trigger in a pistol make a much bigger difference than anything else.

ok, now I'm curious... I'll be at the range tomorrow, with lots of my guns,
I'll run some tests using the factory ammo I shoot ;)

I cat say as I have ever shot my Glocks from a rest, and I have never shot to see how small of a group I can get.

My G17s will put all the rounds into an A-Zone at 30 yards and I am happy with that.

I'm much more accurate with my Sig then I am with my Glock 17. I've dedicated the last 2 months to shooting my Glock only and can't seem to get it to group properly. Now with my Sig on the otherhand, much different story. I'm heading into my third month of shooting just the Glock, and if I don't get significant improvements, she's getting sold. No reason to keep 2 9mm anyways. :)

I find that I'm more accurate with my sig 226 compared to my G17 too, that may be because my G17 has a adjustable rear sight that I think I need to work on...

i hate the factory glock sights...get a set of Hienie's or better yet the new Warren/Sevigny sights.
