GLOCK ADIVSE please :)

The gen 4 spring is a dual sping-inside-a-spring setup and it cocks visible stiffer.

The glock rep told me they last much much longer than the old ones, which didn't seem that bad to me.

It seems some people that load or load lighter get stoppages with this that they didn't with thier older models.

Like you, I will shoot mosltly factory or load to the same specs.

I've seen that with 1911's and WIN CLEAN. Anyone try that in a Gen 4?

I had a glock 22, the angle of the grip is rather uncomfortable, too much pronounce.

For a .40 I felt too much shock in the grip.

For glock I would remain with the 9mm.

But its good gun simple and effective.

If you buy a Glock 22, you could buy an additional barrel in 357SIG.

If you buy a Glock 17, you can use the Glock 22 (40S&W) mags which will legally give you a few extra rounds of 9mm in it - 12 or 13 rounds IIRC, vs the 10 rnd Glock 17 mags (9mm)

With either, you can find many SMG conversion bodies ie EMA-RONIGL1 or Hera Arms. Mech Tech makes a carbine conversion unit (CCU) for Glocks as well. At the end of the day, they add a lot of utility to your basic handgun.

I can't remember if it was Freedom Firearms or Frontier Firearms that once carried these:
