Glock alloy frames

I personally like them alot. The alloy frame improves the looks, balance and ergonomics of the pistol.

Is anyone importing these? I would definitely consider buying one for around $300 CDN.
 
hmm the longer frame rails may cause problems. Glock did their big lengthening after failing the INS trials. then they shortened them again due to cycling problems. It's possible that was partially related to the plastic frame though, maybe more flexing? so it might not be a problem with the alloy frame. I wonder if these are going to get added to the Production list? If I had to pick I'd go for the stainless frame myself. and had anyone got an answer on how the pins will work in the alloy frame? maybe a different style of pin?
 
Does not appeal to me at all.

One of the main reasons I bought a glock pistol was because of the polymer frame. I have found with my glock, if something aint broke, why fix it? I like having a lighter pistol due to the frame, and in my hands it feels just right. Good idea to convert the diehard 1911 fans though I guess.
 
That was kind of the point- interchangeable back straps to make it fit your hand properly...the site says they have a backstrap toduplicate 1911 grip angle.
 
Alloy Frame for Glock Pistols...

I think I'll just stick to the factory Glock polymer frames for my Glock shooting... The G22 I have has over 25,000 rounds thru it without a hic-cup. "Alloy" only means one thing to me & that is "cracked frame" down the road, especially shooting a ctg like the .40 S&W.

Alloy frames for Glocks? An ingenious solution to a non-existent problem...;) :p
 
I don't know - kind of interesting just for the unique factor, but the polymer frames have worked great on all my Glocks. If it aint broke and all that.....
 
What an abortion. If one hates the Glock polymer shape and feel that much then run what is comfortable: Sig, 1911, Beretta etc. Frankensteining something that works with as much success as the Glock factory platform is ridiculous. :confused:

I like it cuz it'll piss of Glock purists, that's good enough reason for me to own one. Put a Caspian slide on it, with no factory Glock parts, all aftermarket parts, and it'll be a thing of wonder!

I am a diehard 1911 fan but I am also a Glock fan. If I want a 1911 I'll choose a 1911--turning a Glock into a heavy metal gun strikes me as utterly pointless.
