Glock barrel question

Will a glock 34 barrel be long enough to fit in a glock 17 and stick out far enough to get threaded or ported?
I can buy a 34 barrel for under 200, seems like a cheaper way to get a threaded barrel,
but I might just be over tired or over stinging.

Go to Glock.com and compare barrel lengths. Nevermind I did it for you. G17 has a 4.49" barrel and that allows a small amount of protrusion. A G34 has a 5.31" barrel, which gives you an additional 0.82" so yes, plenty of length for threading.
