Glock bulged brass?

I have been doing the google shuffle for some time now and have pretty much decided on a glock 21. I am a 1911 guy so this is a big step! I just thought I should see what the fuss is about... Anyway, my question is about glock bulged brass. I reload (using plated bullets or fmj only - no lead) and there is a 100% chance that some of the brass shot in the glock will end up in my 1911's. In particular the spartan has a tight chamber and I assume I will have feeding issues unless I use something to remove the bulge. Questions,

-Does the gen 4 glock stock barrel cause a bulge?
-Is there a product you use or suggest?
-should I plan on an aftermarket barrel? If so I may need to look at another poly 45acp.

As always I appreciate your feedback. Thanks.

i think that brass prob has been taken care of for some time now . i've got a gen 4 G26 [9mm] & no probs . if you do get it in 40 or 45 , the lee fcd with the push through , works great . aka bulge buster .

Are you suggesting gen 4 g26 won't make the brass pregnant? Because I have a gen 4 g17 and it knock up my brass every time.

lee factory crimp die, thats what I use.
If it goes in the die, it will go in any pistol. works 100% of the time for me, no failure to chamber or eject in 500 rounds glock 17

Cases will always bulge if you are using the Glock factory barrel because of the not fully supported chambers and of the higher tolerances. If don't want expanded cases you have to go with a LW, IGB or SL aftermarket barrel.

My SR9 has a tight chamber, so much so that even after being run through my Lee dies if the brass was used in a Glock the cases would stick.

If I were you I would seperate your brass into "Glock" and "non-Glock" bins

I once cleaned and resized all my 9mn brass then took the bucket into the living room infront of the TV with just my SR9 barrel and test fit each piece and separated into ones that fit and ones that are too far bulged from a Glock.

Then at the end of the sorting I had useable brass and and a scrap metal pile (I got my reloading set up and some initial brass from a buddy that had a few 9's and one of them was a Glock)

Ive shot brass thats Reloaded from a glock 17 that was done without a crimping die. It WILL work, but it is not 100 percent reliable. I found more issues shooting outside in really cold weather. Now that might have been a bad batch of reloads and had nothing to do with the weather but I thought id mention it anyways. If i was to do it all over again id get a storm lake barell.

I use the spartan for IPSC classic division and I chamber check any rounds I will be using for the competition (using the sitting in front of the tv method :D). Sounds like it won't be too big a deal and if it becomes a problem I will just pick up a barrel. Do owners of M&P or FNP have the same bulge? I assume any pistol designed for combat will have generous tolerances???

just use the lee FCD and be done with it, really.
it's got a carbide sizer. (not like the rifle FCD).
if the round will go through the die, it will chamber ANY pistol. stop worrying.
