Yeah, legal but don't change the status.....
Very cool, though..... Luger, BHP, Mauser Broomhandle, Colt 1911A1.... some historical pieces that have been fitted with shoulder stocks.
Glock might look a little funny, though....

NAA.
think it was cooper that said" anyone that puts a shoulder stock on a pistol does not understand the role of that firearm" moreoever, if you do get one, you will find it aids in stability, but puts your face too close to the rear of the firearm and not near long enough- ie you'll cramp atthe elbow and shoulder- they're a novelty at best-or maybe a holster- i'm not a big man, and i've seen and tried them at gunshows and they're all to short for me- and i dearly wanted one for my 1911- the stock was made in lebanon, and was a burled walnut- had all the leather too-the matching pistol had a slotted mainspring housing- but put that thing up to your shoulder, and the shortcomings mentioned became readily apparent
Well, Cooper wasnt right about everything. When a shoulder stock is put on a pistol, it stops being a pistol and becomes a very handy carbine. I have tried a BHP on the range at 50 yards and kept it all in an 10-12 inch grouping at a fairly rapid rate of fire. Surprised me on how easy it was to do, so call me a convert. However at "real" pistol ranges, its too cumbersome.
yes , i know - i have no use for his version of a "scout " rifle for one thing
however if you look in the numrich arms catalogue, 19 th edition, page 223( how appropriate) you'll see a thing called a 'COLT 1911 CARBINE SET" - it's a 2 piece set, with a 16 INCH BARREL( which is really stupid as the 45 burns completely in 5 inches) and SPECIAL MAINSPRING HOUSING- it does NOT show whether it is detachable or not- i would surmise that it's not- convert your 45 with this thing once and that's it- carbine, period
an earlier version read "as used by the christian phalanx"- to me that means lebanon- 124.95 part no srg 5'
