I couldn't believe it, Glock finally updated their website, after god knows how long (5 years?).

I find it interesting that slimline G21 everyone got so excited about isn't listed, but a single stack subcompact G36 is.... I'd like if it I didn't already have a Subcompact 1911 for daily carry.

do their guns use enforced chambers now?
I really want a glock but I also don't want to die using it

Just remember end with the hole downrange and you'll be fine. :)

Comments like that denote experience level pretty well... :runaway: Literally millions of LEO's and other users fire tens of thousands of rounds out of Glocks everyday and yes, you'd expect to hear about the odd KB. Glocks are so prolific, this is why you hear about it more than others, it happens to the others as well, likely at a similar rate. People also have a habit of not listening to Glock's advice, like shooting a bunch of cast, followed by hot FMJ's.

Bottom line; Glocks blow up no more frequently than just about any other pistol. If you're really, really, tin foil hat paranoid, stay away from the .40 models, they have the highest incedence rate, which is still, next to nil. :runaway: I've seen first hand, heard of, or read online of blown Colts, SA's, S&W's, Glocks, Rugers, Berettas, STI's, CZ's, Kimbers, Steyrs, Norincos, etc etc etc... Guns blow up sometimes, usually through operator error, sometimes not. I say if you're worried about dying due to a KB, better to give up shooting altogether than worry about a Glock. :p

i'm pretty much just playing troll.
I know theyre just very commonly used, and so one hears about it more.
honestly I'd like one eventually, I just also am a bit offended by their price..
a couple grand for those?..come on.

Well, as somebody who does websites, although it looks nice from a design perspective, the coding kinda sucks. They used a frameset, which is a really bad idea from the point of view of bookmarks and search engines, they didn't even notice that the favicon is pointing to the coder's hard disk rather than the site and so doesn't work, and since it was coded in Microsoft FrontPage I question the professionalism of the coder anyway. I wonder what it cost them?

Two grand!???? Where do you buy guns lol! Site sponsors stock all the standard models for just under $800 or so, brand new. Glock 21's and 20's are just under 1k. They're actually one of the best value on the market.

Now all they've got to do is update the guns...

How about metal sights, rear grip inserts that can be changed, getting rid of the goofy finger grooves, and moving the serial number from under the ejection port (which weakens the slide)?

I just went and looked at my Glocks out of curiousity, in comparison to my other pistols, the Glocks have one of the strongest under ejection port areas, and the serial number stamping's so light I really don't see it meaningfully weakening the slide in any way. Is there an issue of fractures at the serial number? If so it's news to me. As well, I like the finger grooves, if you ever fire a Glock in the rain or with sweaty hands, I think you'll quickly come to appreciate them. ;) The polymer grip gets pretty slick when wet. As for grip inserts, I feel it over complicates and needlessly adds cost, Glocks tend to fit most folks fine as is, male or female. Grip inserts strike me as a marketing gimmick, pistols have been functioning effectively without them for centuries. :) Sights, well, I'm with you there.
