I haven’t received my Glock yet (should come in the mail soon), but I hear alot about the trigger being too heavy and such. So i was wondering what people have done to their Glock G17s and maybe they can post pics and/or links for part suppliers. I was told to change from a 5 lb trigger to a 3.5 lb trigger, but I cant find any site that sells parts for G17's. I did manage to find 100s of threads about higher cal models though.

Edit - And possibly a link for cheap, genuine Glock G17 Mags? anything better then $34.95?

Thanks,

Matt

Search Brownells for "Glock trigger".

Learn how to shoot. Get some professional training. The stock triggers are more than acceptable. Most handguns being purchased are DUTY guns. They are not designed to win Olympic bulls eye matches. The right gear for the right purpose.

$34.95 isn't a bad price for glock magazines. Questar currenlty charges $39 for them. There is no aftermarket option that I'm aware of, only glock makes glock magazines.

Lots of fun bits for g17. Here's a couple on mine.

There is a company (US) that makes steel mags for the Glock but you also have to change the mag release to their steel one because you will wear out the plastic mag release. And Vice versa you cannot use the stell mag release with the factory mags because you will wear out the notch on the mag.

FWIW the Glock mags are better.

The $.25 trigger job should help with the trigger feel. I have the 3.5# connector and the 5# connector. I believe that both are fine and it is almost better to start with the 5# one to get a feel for the gun and then work your way to the 3.5# when you get good with your trigger control.
