I'm thinking about buying a G19 Gen 4 and have been doing some research on it and it seems like there are more Gen 4 problems with it. It has ejection problems where the spent cases are ejected towards your head/face. After reading many threads on Glock Talk it looks like there is a RSA and ejector problem with the G19 Gen 4's. Glock has been changing out the RSA's to the 0-4-3 spring and changing the 336 ejector with the new 30274 ejector. But, Glock will only send the RSA out but not the 30274 ejector. Anyone on CGN have a G19 Gen 4 yet? I'm wondering if the new ones will come with these parts already installed.

The Gen 4 problems have been by and large solved. Most of the issues were back from summer 2010. My May test-fired gen 4 Glock 17 hadthe new RSA in, as should anything test fired since.

The problems are NOT fixed. The RSA is only part of the issue. Glock has also had both extractor and ejector issues and there is no clear fix for them at this time. The White Sound Defense HRED seems to improve the majority of extraction/ejection issues but not all.

I would wait until Glock has figured out what extractor and ejector they're actually going to use.

No they're not. I have another RSA coming for the G22 Gen4, should be here any day now. It's the 3rd spring change that Glock has sent me. Including the original spring, I'll have 4 of them. All the postings for the ejection problems for the G19 Gen 4's that I've read on Glock Talk are all mostly posted this summer.

I must just be very lucky then :)

You may be lucky, you may just not shoot much...hard for any of us to say.

Some of the glocks with problems don't exhibit any issues for the first four or five thousand rounds. Around here that could be some people's entire round count through a gun. For others it could be a single month.

Some glocks don't have issues at all, so it's very tough to predict. But the problems have not been solved.
