Glock Gen 4 available in the USA

Locking block seems to have been beefed up a bit, rails in the frame also look wider and thicker. I'll have to get my hands on one of these.

ETA: Nice work finding these pics, Slavex - thank you!

Dual recoil spring among other changes - I hope the improvements will increase reliability with G22 and lights mounted.

I think I'll pick up a 4th Gen Glock 22.

4th generation frame on the left , 3rd gen frame on the right.

did they change frames between gen 3 and gen 3.5? because the last picture looks like it should be the other way around gen 3 on the left and gen 4 on the right. just curious becasue my gen 3.5 looks like the one on the left.

The inside of the frame at the dustcover definitely looks different... maybe Glock bit the bullet and put a bit of steel in their frame to reinforce it (such as M&P does)?

I think I'll want one of these Glocks, now that they've incorporated these changes.

I think I will be keeping my 3rd Gen G17. I dont think there is enough important changes to buy another Glock. I notice that the fish gill cocking serations are gone. I actually liked those on the RTF models.
