glock gen 4 in fde

Hey,
Don't know if this is t right spot to post this. I'm looking for a glock gen 4 in fde. Does any dealer have these in stock?
 
So I found a few on gunbroker. I have the option of gen 3 or gen 4 other the extra mag and the reversible mag release in the gen4 Which comes in handy since I'm a lefty. Any reasons to go with the gen 3 over a gen 4. Sorry if the question have been asked before. Still new to all this.
 
Some guys like gen 3, some guys prefer gen 4. Just a matter of personal preference mostly. I have owned both and I now only own a gen 4 due to the adjustable backstraps. I have smaller hands and it just fits me better than the gen 3. Possibly something to consider.

That is not true. They are still made a widely available in the US. They are simply not imported into Canada due to lack of interest. I spoke to Glock's LE distributor and they stated that they'd only import them with a confirmed order of 500+.
 
If you get a Gen 3 you can "if you want" switch slides with a G34?, most of the "bugs" have been worked out in the Gen 3, and as we all know, the "Glock" keeps evolving, so they keep improving and making upgrades.

IMO if your going to "import" one get the Lipseys Vickers model. Now that's just my opinion.

I'd get the Gen 4 10 times out of 10. Better grip texture, comes with backstrap/beaver tail if you have large hands. Oversize magasine release is a godsend.

I had just bought a brand new G19G3 and used G17G4 when the FDEs made it to Canada. I always wanted FDE frames, and knew I would regret not getting them when available, so I replaced both with new FDE models. The G17 came from Lipsey's through Arms East, and the G19 from Dlask, and I has Dean Cerakote the slide for me.
