Looks cool.....

I am glad to see that they went back to the regular slide serrations,,,, the ones on the RTF models were horrible. They look like an after thought.

Either way, I really hope the put the JCP (.45acp, pic. rail, DE Frame) version on the market, its the nicest Glock I have seen.

Gord.

Your older magazines won't work. Upgraded recoil springs. Nice marketing.

Still the same old plastic guide rod eh? I guess when you really think about it the old guide rod works pretty good and why alter something that works.

Is Glock going to scratch the Gen3 from production or will they still make them along side the Gen4?

Unless I'm not seeing something it looks like the rumors that they modified the light rail to allow for tighter fitting lights (Surefire) were not true.:(

I thought it was posted elsewhere that the old mags would work if you kept the regular right hand side mag release, but you'd need the new ones if you switched to left side release?

LOL!!!!!

So gheyand still looks ghey!!!!

The Glock is still a Block... so all it took was for S&W to come out with an interchangable backstrap, sm - med - lrg, on their M&P series for them to get with the times. Glock = GM... almost.

Still the plastic mags... I hated my now sold Gen1 G21 becuase the mags would not eject and had to use silicone spray when shooting IPSC

I guess Glock is down on profits once the M&P came out.

I know for a fact that Durham region are being issued the M&P series over the Glock and I'm told that they really like the feel of the M&P especially the officers with small hand.

I love my M&P9 but wish a 22lr coversion kit comes out soon.

After carrying a S&W for 5 years and then a Glock for the last 4, I can tell you I would refuse to carry a pistol made by S&W to protect my life ever again. The M&P has its issues, and I have had none, nor has anyone I work with had any issue with their Glock that wasn't user error. My mags drop just fine. I have at least 5 figure experience through these guns and zero hiccups with my Glock. S&W should stick to revolvers. I'll pack my "block".
I like the new Gen4.

^^

I trust that you have much experience, but if your going to bash the M&P so badly can you give a detail explanation of what was wrong with it? There are many, many, people out there, LE included that love it.

Im sure your experiences could help others.

Off topic, sorry, now on topic.

The gen 4 looks good, but why did glock take so long to just reach par with other companies in the ergo category?
