Glock Generation 4.... anyone heard anything concrete?

when the 4th gen comes out, it will drive the price of the 3rd gen down. Hopefully.
 
Though Glock Fanboys tend to be a a real pain if the a$$ (That's you TDC) :D, but you have to admit that Glock has stuck to a formula that works for them.

1)Shameless self promotion
2) Sticking with a proven design
3)Huge dealer network

They build a solid product and you have to give it to them, they have turned their back on different revenue streams to concentrate on putting out products that work in the calibers people want. Trouble is, for twenty years they really didn't evolve their iconic design past some cosmetic, length and caliber changes. In the last five years their competition has leveled the playing field and I have to believe their sales have reflected it.

My prediction: Look for Glock to come out with a bunch of new products to grow their sales. A new pistol design is a given. I would bet they are working hard on a full size black rifle and a pistol caliber carbine as well. I bet they are testing the sh!t out of them right now to ensure they get it right....

But who knows, I could be wrong.
