From the Lipsey web release...

Baton Rouge, LA — Lipsey’s, nationally renowned firearms distributor, is officially launching a gray GLOCK that is now available in several models.

Lipsey’s has staked its claim in the Flat Dark Earth arena with dozens of GLOCK models in two tone and full FDE. However, Lipsey’s continues to stay on the cutting edge of trends and what the pulse of dealers and customers are clamouring for. The gray GLOCK is it.

These Gen4 GLOCK’s feature a factory molded gray frame with black slide. They are now available in the following models: G17, G19, G20, G21, G22 and G23. Included with each pistol are four gray interchangeable back straps.

With the overwhelming success of the Lipsey’s Exclusive Flat Dark Earth GLOCK models, Product Development Manager Jason Cloessner was ready to blaze another trail in a market wanting more than standard black guns. When asked about the concept behind the project he had this to say, “With the growing trend of gray in both the AR-15 and tactical accessory market, the timing has never been better for a gray framed version of one of the most popular semi-automatic pistols in the world.”

I really don't understand the dudes at Glock.

It's nothing like losing market share to get them off their collective asses and start releasing products that the drooling masses want. I fear Ron Cohen has somehow infiltrated Glock though, because who really cares about frame colours other than gun hipsters (sorry to all the posters above, but it's true). The next thing they release will be a tribal tattoo inspired G34 or something and then maybe crappy Chinese red dot clones.

I still have to ask the dudes at Glock (not that they are watching this site anyway but here goes): Where the f$&K is my pistol caliber Glock carbine???

Here's hint: Have your damn designers buy a B&T TP9. Figure out how to fit a glock mag in the thing and call it a day. For f#%k sakes! Do you not care about actually growing your market share?? It's like pulling teeth around here!

There, I feel better. Now I have to go write a letter to Beretta about making a Centurion length G!!!

My feelings also
A Glock carbine would be awesome.

Well they can't top 104 years of the same old 1911. Gotta do something to spice it up.

But I would argue the author that adding gray to the already black, OD, FDE, red, and blue molded lowers already out there isn't exactly "blazing a trail", more just changing the stride on the same trail.

They should make a fluorescent green zombie version or a pink for the ladies. Laugh2. I would like to see a Glock in .357 Mag.
