Glock grip plugs

Are plugs for the grip in a Glock a good investment?

That hole in the grip is there for a reason. If your talking the ones at the bottom of the grip. You can get a Jentra Plug to go in there but I wouldnt. That hole allows you to grip your mag and pull it out alot easier then if the plug is in there.

Why would you want to pull on the mag:confused:It should drop free.

You can also get the polymer magwell/plug combo. It has a very shallow magwell which helps in faster reloads if necessary. Target Sports and The shooting Edge both have them for the G17 & G22 For less than $30. They work on all but Gen4's...Just a simple screw holds in place with no mods reqrd. May be of interest to you. Cheers

IPSC considers it a mod for production, I've already been told as well. It's a cool little storage area though for every other application. If it works for you, who cares what anybody thinks.

Nope.. That thing is big and clunky compared to the MagLoc version. It is a flush fit to the mag with an open front in case you need to strip the mag quickly. MagLoc is made from lightweight polymer, same as the frame.

Why would you want a magwell unless your competing with you glock and if you are in IPSC you're not permitted to add a magwell in production class anyway.

Competition and Match grade enhancements seem to be migrating it's way into tactical handgun discipline. I fought it, and am starting to embrace it.

I recommend this one from Magloc. Acts as a plug and a really low profile mag well. Works wonders.

Looks okay but is it something to jam a mag in a pistol that's been dropped in the mud, i'm talking combat here something the Glock was designed for and not something my Glock should ever have to do. Is this why the Glock has that; "unfinished look, on the mag well"???
