What's the best way to apply grip tape to a glock? I have a Gen4 G17, and some say to just buy ladder tape, but the pre-cut templates will probably be more uniform once I'm done. What do you guys recommend?

Check out 911 supply, they sell both versions of the talon tape(both the rubbery and skateboard kinds) and they sell it in generic 8x8 squares or laser cut. The adhesive is different, and the talon tape comes off cleanly whereas the grip tape for skateboards is a major pain to ever remove.

I’d recommend using the pre cut ones. They can be painful to apply but it doesn’t look like a drunken Somali pirate tried to apply it after a long night of Khat.

Awesome, thanks!

I'd go with the pre cut rubberized. I had some of the skateboard tape on my Gen 3 and found that after a while the "sand" would start to ware off and I would be left with slick black tape. I then switched to the 3M "safety walk" tape. Much nicer, although cutting it was a pain in the ass.

911Supply is all sold out. Know any other supplier that sell the Talon grips?

I have precut stuff on my 17 and 19, but it needs replacing as I'd removed it to put my GripForce adapter on. Problem is I can't remember where I got it, it was from someone on Enos, but seems they've gone out of business or something. Thanks for the info above.

Question for y‘all

Has anyone sanded the existing stippling before installing the tape? I have tape on the way and was wondering if smoothing out the stippling would allow the adhesive to stick better. A flat roughed surface usualy sticks better i figure.
