 I just picked up a Glock 20 and on giving it a good inspection at home found the guide rod doesn't appear to stay seated properly in the groove on the barrel assembly. I put the rod in the groove but find when I remove the slide it isn't in it's proper position. Is this just a result of removing the slide, or is it that the part is likely defective? I'm itching to shoot it but I don't want to cause any unnecessary damage. Anyone experiance this prob with a Glock? I'll pick up a stainless guide rod for it if it's a good fix but I want to shoot it tomorrow!!!!!!!

If you mean it looks like its hanging off just a bit and isn't quite flush then yes thats normal. At least it is on mine. I was a little concerned when I got mine too. However, 1650 rounds later its still firing just fine.

Don't worry about it, go have some fun! :dancingbanana:

It shoots real nice. My Astra Police shoots nice too! The sights suck but the trigger isn't too bad. I love 9mm out of it. A few more moon clips and I'm in business.
