Glock hater

I'm not a Glock hater...IMO they are fairly reliabe and durable pistols (just like most other modern designs).

But IMO Glock is the cheapest gun maker; (plastic sights and mags aside) people have been complaiting about the grip angle for as long as their guns have been around, yet Guston never made an alternative model, stainless version wouldn't hert either... ;)

I think for the price Glock should offer more in the looks/design department.(considering the materials used and the simplicity it's fairly inexpensive gun to produce)

Again Glocks are not bad guns, just not what I'm looking for in a gun...

1 - Cheap? Comparable to all the other plastic guns out there. Glock was the leader (and still is).
2 - Grip angle? I love it. I'm not a fan of the 1911 or Hi-power (is this sacrilege? )
3 - Stainless? Not for the market they're into, police and military. This is true of it's direct competitors as well. The XD line and the S&W M&P.
Reminds me of the Alexander Keith's commercial. "Those who like it, like it a lot." :dancingbanana:

I meant not willing to invest money into new machinery to produce something different/new. Glock is one of major gun makers and they just now got a decent website (the old one looked like it was designed by a high school student )

Glock's work!

I was a tried & true 1911 style and BHP/CZ style man when I shot my first Glock around 1993-1994'ish. Then I had the chance to put about 5,000 rounds thru a Glock 22 in a 5 day course in early 1995. Same pistol has well over 25,000 rounds thru it now, without a hitch. Still love my 1911's and BHP's but I have what you can describe as "an appreciation" for the Glock.... Simply put, Glock's work.

I bought a Glock 21 last year and the only complaint I have with it is that the grips get slippery if your hands get wet. This is an extremely minor complaint that I can remedy by using some skateboard or safety tape (the rubber slip on grips make the grip a tad large for my liking). The G21 is easy to shoot and easy to maintain.

I sold all but one of my 9mm handguns but I've been thinking of adding another one into the stable keep my 9mm Sig 220 company, yep, I've been thinking about getting a G17. BTW, I don't go around chanting the Glock slogan because I own a G21, I actually prefer shooting my .45 Sig 220 or my Para SSP but this isn't to say that the G21 won't hold its own against them.......As for 'Glock Perferction', it's only advertising hype, nothing's perfect, get over it. :D

The best thing about Glocks is their ability to piss off non-Glock owners. Sure you could have a tricked out 1911, a solid BHP, or a ###y Beretta, but nobody is going to come unglued and start shooting 2 foot groups if you say "These ###x pistols are the best in the world." Buy a Glock and just say in a matter-of-fact tone "Glocks are perfection" everytime it goes bang and just watch the non-glock owner's blood start to boil!

Myself, I like the Glocks safe-action design.

haha good one...:D

I've reloaded for my G37 for over 2 years, and its a difficult pistol to reload for simply because everything I feed it shoots great without a hiccup...so how does one find a certain "pet load" ?
It has to be the most accurate "out of the box" handgun I've got and that includes 1911s, Rugers,Brownings etc., I like 'em all but the Glock is awesome !

IMO a .45 ACP is a 1911 and...

... a 9mm is a Glock.
