Glock lowers price in canada?

Why do you automatically, and without good reason, classify it as irrational?

You're 2 constant criticisms are 1) "They're plastic" 2) "They're outdated." When you're asserting point 1, you suggest alternatives that are older designs than the Glock safe action. When you're asserting point 2, you suggest alternatives that are polymer guns.

I don't see any context in which those assertions are logical when presented in tandem. That, by definition, makes it irrational.

My G21 gen 4 was a good pistol but, i am leaning seriously toward a Walther PPQ 2 45 ACP. i tried one this winter in the States and it's ahead of my G21 in my book... JP.

Considering that it is nothing more than:

- a piece of injection molded plastic for a frame,
- a steel stamping as a trigger bar and more injected molded plastic internal parts,
- a simple welded slide with very simple machining for an equally simple to make striker,
- and an injection molded plastic magazine,

the price is ludicrous.

Herr Glock must laugh his ass off to the bank every day.

But hey, that old children's story about the Emporer's new clothes is still so very true.

Your aversion to Glock pistols is absolutely irrational, keep reading and you'll learn why.

Do tell what internals are injection molded/plastic other than the trigger group grousing? All the pins, springs, lock block, slide stop, take down lever, and disconnector are steel. Sorry, I'm all out of parts to list as a Glock has the fewest parts of any pistol ever made.

Polymer framed guns is the future, has been for a few decades now. Odd how nearly every other manufacturer offers polymer framed guns.

The slide is single piece billet machined, nothing welded on them.

The magazine is steel with a polymer out casing. The Magpul Glock magazines are entirely polymer(except for the spring) but they work 100% just like OEM mags.

Your aversion to Glock pistols is irrational and filled with ignorance and bogus information. Perhaps more reading and less verbal diarrhea would serve you well.

Curious to hear why Glock pistols are "outdated" and just what other design is superior??

There is that pair of spring cups and spacer sleeve. Those are sure to make it explode, I read it on the interwebz.

You are absolutely correct, but those are part of the slide and not the frame which what I was referencing for parts. ;)
