No, most people prefer to use the correct terms. There's no reason not to know the correct definitions. Mags are mags, clips are clips. They are different and not interchangeable.

Personally, I could care less what people call it, a mag or a clip, but I can tell you that it tells me exactly how experienced they are when they say "clip" when its really a magazine.

I have known the difference for the past 15 years, given I am 22 that's a lot. Am I a detriment to our sport because I don't give a flying #### what terms NOOBs use? They will know the difference when they really get into the sport, otherwise why the hell do I care? I am not anal I don't worry about such ridiculous and trivial things.
