Glock mag followers; newest?

Below is a photo of the some 9mm Gen 4 (ambi) glock magazine followers I have. On the left is a mag I got from Sporteque. On the right is the mag that came with my Gen4 Glock 19 (June 2012 manufacture date).

Is one follower newer than the other? Is one more reliable for feeding than the other? The feed lips also appear to be slightly different.

All of my mags look like the one on the left. 2183 followers have been around for a long time, they're not a new design. I think you got an old mag. Check out this thread. It's dated March 2004.
