glock mag.. kaputs?

while at the range and after a string, i noticed the mag didnt drop freely, pulled it out and this is what i saw, a previous outting had a shooter limp wrist a few shots and jammed a couple rounds, would that cause this? is she toast?

and these dots are all filled on my other mags, if i was around other glockers, i would swear they swapped a mag but im a lonewolf

That looks completely different than my factory mags.

...and I would call it toast. the front lip and follower is cracked.

That looks like a KCI mag, never seen that happen before..

For the price of a mag, toss it in the garbage and buy a couple new ones.

Happened to one of my old Glock magazines. However uncertain if that is a Glock mag? Either way she's done.

That's not a Glock mag. The thing is scrap.

Not a gen 3 or 4 mag. Like everyone said I would throw it away unless it still feeds okay and the only issue is not dropping free

Glock mags are cheap, just buy a new one and keep the spring, follower and baseplate as spares.

Magazines are disposable. Strip the parts off it and toss the body.

I can't tell from the pics if yours is a pinned hi-cap or a factory ten rounder but the early Glock mags had a tendency to bulge when filled to capacity making for harder insertion and extraction. In any event yours looks very well used. The mag catch slots look pretty pooched as well so I would say its time to retire the old gal for a newer model.

I don't believe Glock ever painted their logo or numbers on the mag. Unless you or a previous owner did it. Regardless, the mag is toast.

ETA: On further inspection, the bump in your photo doesn't look any more pronounced than the same bumps I see on all my magazines. However, that split in the front of the magazine is a problem.

sorry my bad, ya i coloured in the numbers, this was purchased as an old police glock, i assume this is on of the mags that came with it and not 1 of 3 i bought later on

it does have stainless liner though
