I recently needed to replace the followers in six Glock magazines.

Unlike most handgun magazines; Glock mags are extremely difficult to take apart.
And the Canadian 10-rounders seem to be extra difficult.

I found this tool online, and decided to give it a try.
I could not believe how well it works.

It doesn't look like much. But it puts exactly the right amount of pressure in exactly the right location.
The base of the magazine pops off easily, with just a gentle squeeze with one hand.

I should probably pick one of these up. Years ago when I got my 17 I attempted to take one of the mags apart. Gave up after looking up a video online of someone who's "technique" was jamming a punch or allen key into the mag, then pushing the magazine body while using the tool shoved in the mag for leverage. Seemed like a good way to bend or break something.
