Hello everyone,
Please forgive if this has been asked and answered before: Are TTI (or other Manufacturer's) magazine extensions for handguns legal to import into Canada ? I would love to import some TTI extensions from Irunguns, but I don't want $150 worth of merchandise confiscated at the border.

I feel like this is a bit of a grey area because the magazines in question would already be pinned anyways, so the install wouldn't increase magazine size.I am also not asking about +0 baseplates, I am looking to purchase actual extensions to add to my pinned 10/17 and 10/31 ETS mags for looks/weight.

Please share your experiences, legal expertise or opinions, I'd love to hear what everyone has to say about this.

IRG won’t import anything illegal for you...if they’ll bring it in you should be fine. Keep in mind that mag extensions may come with new springs; while that rivet will keep you from loading more than ten rounds, it may also keep your stock spring from being removed easily - I’ve struggled with a few... There are +0 options available for some brands that give you the same weight and look with none of the other issues...

Thanks for the input, I'm currently trying to get a hold of IRG so they can tell me whether they'll bring em in or not.
I'd really just like them to be TTI because I'm a bit of a brand whore :p

Auscan Tactical are a Canadian company that make them and specialize in custom glocks, manufacture barrels, compensators and slides etc.

Best price and quality? They use 6061 aluminum and are hollow.
Auscan are cheaper, made from 7075 aluminum which is higher grade and are solid so that they drop free faster.

They are solid aluminum? What are you talking about, had auscan style base pads before on my g34 switched over to Rehlm the build quality is so much better and overall a better base pad.

Auscan basepads are completely solid and heavier. They aren't hollow like Rehlm.
So obviously you haven't used or even seen their basepads.

Not very often you see the owner and Mitch ( his only employee) in a post trying to bash another company, it’s sad guys use facts next time.
And The fact that I use them in open shooting a Glock should speak for myself just fine, I have videos of my auscan style base pads refusing to drop freely while the new Rehlm pads drop like butter.

No one is bashing anyone you fool, I'm explaining the difference between the two companies about price, material quality and performance.
You're the one who bashes Auscan saying they are garbage when you have never even seen or used their products or services because rehlm gave you some free basepads so quit the bull####.

Hahaha please upload your videos showing auscan basepads. You realise auscan are heavier therefore drop faster right? I know multiple people shooting ipsc and 3 gun with their basepads. So please, show us these basepads not dropping that you speak of.

Don’t get angry just because I am a paying customer and had both products and saying one is clearly better ? To be quite honest they aren’t even close.
The only “trash” I have to say about auscan is that you and you’re worker talk to much and ruin you’re reputation by doing so, you spread lies and hate on any rival company ? Lmao it’s quite funny.

TTI have solid and hollow basepads. You don't need hollow unles you plan to shoot outside Canada.

Hollow are only for extra capacity. Unless you have the extra rounds in them, you might aswell have a thin basepad. That's why auscan make them solid, to add weight and drop faster.

Me and my worker? I'm my own person you fool, I don't have any workers. Show us evidence of the basepads you say you have videos of otherwise everyone will assume you're full of crap if you can't back up your statement.
You said auscan are garbage on another post when you have never used their products or services, do you need me to post a link to show you?

If anyone would like emails of pictures and videos using auscan style base pads inbox me you’re email?

Once again since listening isn’t youre strong point, you along side auscan sent people into threads/posts trashing on other companies just because there product is better... you’re the Hilary Clinton of the gun Comunity.
