Well....it's not like anyone is carrying an 11rd mag around....and as soon as the slide is racked, you're back to 10 anyway. Hearing 11 pops @ the firing line is pretty common.
different situation, a 40 mag with 9mm in it is legal, a 9mm mag with more the 10 9 mm in it is not, whether you modified it, it's a production error, or something broke. You may be able to win in court if you prove something broke, but it will cost you.
thats why i asked, theres a chance he has the wrong follower in the 9mm mag... i bet using the 40 sw follower would give you 1 extra round, ive got some oem glock mags that are 10 rounders and are about 10.5.. a couple extra mm from a different follower sure i could fit one in there. the .40 mags are almost identical.
OP post the part number off your followers in the mags, and make sure the back of the mag says 9mm.
