Glock Mags capacity

different situation, a 40 mag with 9mm in it is legal, a 9mm mag with more the 10 9 mm in it is not, whether you modified it, it's a production error, or something broke. You may be able to win in court if you prove something broke, but it will cost you.

thats why i asked, theres a chance he has the wrong follower in the 9mm mag... i bet using the 40 sw follower would give you 1 extra round, ive got some oem glock mags that are 10 rounders and are about 10.5.. a couple extra mm from a different follower sure i could fit one in there. the .40 mags are almost identical.

OP post the part number off your followers in the mags, and make sure the back of the mag says 9mm.

Yep, and that's why i reply, just think people should know what laws they're breaking before they do. Putting a 40 follower into the 9mm mag to allow 11 transports you to the realm of "modifying". All can do whatever they want, but folk reading about it should be aware of the implications, and not all who read here on nuts are knowledgeable on the in's and outs, and how they evolve. It used to be legal to bring stuff back in pieces as long as they weren't assembled, so many would bring in AR mag bodies cheap then pin and assemble....then the RCMP changed their mind and even parts became a no no.

Glocks don't need much oil, (heck and even less maintenance) maybe a bit on the locking face of the hood, and a drop on each slide rail. Cleaning is up to you, the glock won't care much if you don't mind your hands getting dirty. I know folk who never clean them beyond locking them open and blowing them out with aerosol cleaner. Personally, i'd field strip every 4-500 rounds.

What i would or wouldn't do with the mags is not the question, but discussing it here is a poor idea.
