how old is the glock and what generation is it? where did you buy it? new or used? i would stick with the original glock frame in any case.
To start with, it's not my gun, I'm making inquiries on behalf of a friend. From what I understand the gun is fairly current production and was bought new within the last two or three months.
It certainly looks like an original frame would be simpler to get and could be counted on to be a simple parts swap.
