I waited over a month for my last purchase (from local gun store), 5 weeks (and counting) for one I sold to a friend, and its been a week since I put my order in for the Glock!
I WILL NOT WAIT 'TILL CHRISTMAS :eek:
 
I know what you mean ontgunnner, I have a feeling mine will take a while, and won't be one of those 2 day transfers. It's brutal since not only is this my first glock, it's my first pistol, and I am damn impatient!!!!
 
What the heck is going on over there in Ontario? Last restricted purchase (just last month) a buddy of mine made from Police Ordnance was approved same day - out in BC. I've been out of Ontario for about 11 years now and I don't recall the transfers taking that long back when...

Received it this afternoon as promised. I played with it in my basement for a while, neat design. Went to the range shot 100 rounds not problems, shoots straight and I like the trigger.

I was wondering what troutseeker's was, US made frame (no 'Made in Austria' on frame)... or Austrian made frame w/either the 'Made in Austria' markings, or the 'Made in Austria' markings w/NPv proof marks.

I just ordered a US made frame G17, but if if were to do it again, I would have opted for the NPv proof marked ones Wolverine offers for example. Just personal pref I guess. I am sure (hope) US made frames will be just as good. ;)

What about if you fight fire with a really big ass helicopter? Does that count? For all you LEO's out there that get this discount, YOU SUCK!:D You and you high cap mags!;)

Gotcha. If you ordered from P.O., did they tell you it was going to be a US made frame? I assume their in stock models don't have a long shelf life - considering the amount of business they probably do. The OD one I mentioned had the "Made in Austria" over "Glock Inc., Smyrna, GA" on the frame. I wouldn't sweat the Austria vs. US production thing though. There's probably no discernable difference in them...

Bought a G21 last week from Jo and the discounted price was $723.00. I bought a G22 from him a while back and got the discount from PO. At one time were people having to go to Glock directly for the LE rebate?
 
Mine was processed late last week, and shipped out today. Total wait time was exactly 4 weeks and i'm in ON. They were sending out a bunch of about 11 or 12.
