Glock or Beretta

Between the two? I would choose Glock. I've owned both sold them both. I would recommend Sig p226. Easier to shoot accurately, better feel in the hand, took out bin laden :D

Consider this, as most police forces do but its rarely mentioned or considered. In using the firearm in sub zero temps, metal guns quickly freeze the hands, even with gloves on. The Glock doesn't do that, and is/should be a major concern in a serious situation. If you were to have to "hold on target" for a long period, and I've done it, metal guns are a serious detriment, even with a grip attached. This could matter in Canada if you winter shoot or the SHTF in a massive Ebola/Zombie crisis. Same effect as standing on a cold highway for hours. The road sucks the heat out of the best boots....But steel toe are waaaaaaay worse. Plastics not perfect, but it's better.

Also, shoot a G20. Smiles a mile wide.

I shot both prior to buying one and I went with glock 17 it fit better and I shot better with it. Go to a range shoot both and see what fit works best for you or....buy both and enjoy both

Son in law has Glock.....I personally neither like it or hate it....I shoot anything. Had Beretta 92, liked it, sold it.........just bought a Girsan Regard MC with Rail for half of what I sold the Beretta. It's an exact duplicate of the Beretta, copied from their blueprints and is the sidearm of the Turkish army. It feels as if it belongs in your hand.....nice and hefty with a grip that just sits perfectly. Just pour the rounds through, no jams....smooth as silk.

Ease of use and reliability = Glock. This is my go to gun. Very practical and light weight. I have used it a lot in IPSC.

But having a Berreta is super cool as well. Old school heavy gun. I would like to have both if possible.

I've heard that the girsan is just as good as the beretta. Going to check one out today. Just may go with it if it's as good.

Glock or Beretta?

Glock for me.

Have owned both, still have Glocks.

The Beretta is a nice pistol but the clubby feel of the the table leg grip is why I no longer own one. I much prefer the CZ 75/85 series or even better the venerable BHP MKIII over the Beretta any day of the week for a metal framed, double stack pistol.

Just my .02

NAA.

I have both, both are super reliable. I started with Beretta 92 and it took me years to warm up to Glocks! actually I still dislike gen3's! Started with a gen2 G22 and it kinda grew on me, when gen4 came out I was sold!

yeah get BOTH!

Finally settled. Went in to do a final compare. Held a girsan regard. Felt like it was made for my hand. Bought and paid for. Can't wait to get it out to the range.

Both are great ;)

My Glock 17 3rd Gen was the most accurate 9mm I've ever owned, but the Beretta M9-92/96 FS is a classic masterpiece.

What ever feels better in your hand, and you like more I guess.

Check out a Sig P226 for your next pistol. Best of the best combat platform, you'll have no regrets. Little pricey, buy once, cry once.

Haven't been able to cross over to the polymer side myself(yet). Once i take the slide off, i just hate the look and feel of that legomatic plastic frame. That's just me I guess, don't mean to offend.
