Glock rear sight issue

I just used a hammer and Brass Drift punch to remove the OEM sights, and install new Warren/Sevigny sights. I removed the slide, and put it in a vise, wood jaws, and tapped the sights out and then in. Worked like a charm

I have to say I'd rather be cautious and use the tool then not, I've sh&ty luck and the last thing I need is to bugger new sights when installing, but there are ALOT of people that just hammer them in and out, which was making me think the tool was just an invention for a problem that didn't exist.
