I was in CK gunroom in London (http://ww w.ckgunroom.ca) and they have a few Glocks with the the "slimer" frame in stock in 9mm .40 and 45. Normally i wouldn't ever touch a glock but these ones fit my hand better (the first one i held two years ago rubs in a weird way on my fingers). I was thinking that maybe one would be a good addition to the household but i am not completely sure. If i get one it has to be a slim frame and im thinking 40 S&W and so far this is the only store i have seen that actually has these in stock right now.
Glock owners i need some advice, how does the trigger feel after 1000rds? 4000rds? accuracy? wear and tear?

tx in advance

Man those are some wild prices, Glock 17's from dealers on this site can be had for 700, and Glock21SF with night sights on this site are 974.00. They are sellin Glock 17's on sale for 975.95 and Glock21SF FOR 1295.95. :runaway:

that's why I don't shop there even though they have good people working there...

btw I'm pretty sure there's only one SF glock- model 21 in .45acp!

9mm, and .40 Glocks are regular models that have been around for a while. ;)

Maaaan! They should stop smoking crack!! :onCrack:

BTW the G17 is on sale...975 instead of 1015... go ahead, order two before they get out of stock....:p

yea i was there today there good people and you can usually talk down the price

Even if they are able to «talk down the price», i can still get a G17 at policeordnance for around 700$ delivered to my door... I don't feel like spending a whole evening begging on my knees for a 275$ rebate...:p

Putting prices this high is an insult to people intelligence.

 A local store had 3 in stock when I was there a week ago. The G21 SF handled nicely and felt better in my hand than my regular G21 that I bought late last year. He was asking 900 bucks for his......:onCrack:

To answer the bottom Q's:
I've been using a stock G19 - first generation. Only modification the OEM 3.5lbs connector & other sights. Trigger after 25000 rds - no change that I can feel. Accuracy: same. Wear & tear: minor holster polish/wear - the black gets lighter. Nice & shiny slide stop lever. Just bought a new G19 from Questar. To early to comment on the barrel - the Lone Wolf barrel seems slightly more accurate than my old stock. Grip is a big improvemnt over the first gen.

I find the 21's feel like a brick, but most glocks are about that durable as well. Good gun if you want a glock in 45 (why is up to you, I've come to accept grudginly that the 17/19 family are good guns, really dislike the 21)

As far as buying it at CK's, DON"T DO IT! The prices are so far out of touch with reality it's not funny! I don't know, anywhere more expensive. Period!
They are nice people, but not that nice!

I am a BIG fan of the Glock 21SF, especially for Canada. I have very big hands and I find the G21 too big. Add the 10 round capacity (you can't go more here anyway) with the very ergonomic grip and you have an outstanding .45.
