And it will fit your hand much nicer, and it has a nicer trigger! On the other hand, you can get an aftermarket barrel for the glock for around 125-150 I believe.
If you don't try to go for max loads, I doubt the leading will be a huge issue, just make sure you clean it out before shooting jackets over it. All that does is hammer the lead into the barrel and deposits copper fouling over it, and that mon ami is a total ##### to scrub out! Hard cast lead (which is what you buy) dosen't seal poly rifling as well as jackets do, so the escaping gas flame cuts the bullet and deposits lead on the bore. Lower velocities will mitigate this, (less pressue=lower burn temperature) and probably a slightly slower powder. (slower pressue curve=lower burn temp)
