If you want a .45 and don't already have a 1911, it's a no brainer. That gun was specifically designed for the caliber and you're not going to find another pistol that is as fun to shoot in .45. It's like getting a bespoke suit vs. buying something off the rack and then getting it tailored to fit you.Ya, I have large hands so the bigger the grip the better for me until you get into the desert eagle, that thing is like holding a 2x4. I'm going .45 because I already have a 9mm Beretta and a .40 S&W P226 clone. So I'm looking for a new caliber and something different.
