Looking for replacement sight options for factory glock sights, what’s everyone using? Most likely looking for something fiber optic or maybe a night sight. The factory sights are passable but leave something to be desired.

I’m leaning towards the Trijicon HD XR, it seems to have a slimmer front blade. Just have to see who has the best price, I have a second pistol I’d like to upgrade the sights on now that I think about it.

Using z v on my g41, not a fan they don’t pick up well, I have trijicon sights on a g48 with the orange outer dot, you an pick the front sight up extremely well from the draw.

Some people like all black, some like tritium, and some like fiber optic. Some like as-low-as-possible-to-the-slide but some like higher. Some like tight notches, and some like wide (with lots of light visible). It's ever what you want.

And then, availability is a thing too - you can't use it if you can't get it - and in Canada some brands are more available than others. For example, I like Heinie, but good luck getting them.

Ameriglo and Warren Sevigny are two brands that we often find (available to us in Canada).

I am a big fan of the Trijicon HD XR's as well, but they are pricy, The Ameriglo Hackathorn style is usually what I get for new pistols and they work very well. Personally I prefer a serrated blacked out rear sight, less distracting and allows for that good front sight focus.

Had a chance to shoot a buddy’s shadow with fiber optics, def sold on a blacked out rear and f/o front. Trijicon fiber optic sets look reasonably priced as far as offerings go, Meprolight tru dots are priced well for a tritium. How well made are they though?
