Glock sight options

Another vote for Heinie, I have the Slant Pro Ledge on my G19 and Slant Pro at the rear with a Dawson fiber optic on the front of my G22.

Hackathorn Ameriglo are great value with Tritium - Orange dot
Shadow Systems - Fighting Sights are essentially hackathorns with a green dot (also has tritium front made by ameriglo)
Zev - Combat Sights gives you the option of 3 fibre optics to choose from for the front sight
All have blacked out rears
I prefer the Hackathorn setup to my Zev. I don’t find the fibre optic as quickly for whatever reason

Ameriglo sells just the Orange dot with Tritium on its own as well if you end up finding a Metal Goal Post Rear sight. Just make sure the height is good.

Not the best photos for comparison, but my Glocks with night sights.

From the left;

#1, 3, 4 & 5 are Meprolight Tru Dot
#2 Trijicon HD XR
#6 Ameriglo
#7 Trijicon Bright and Tuff
#8 & 9 Trijicon Suppressor height

funny no love for glock night sights but some praised trijicon ... made by the same lol

My 19X came with Glock branded night sights, they are better then the standard Glock plastic sights IMO yes, but not as good as any of the aftermarket Trijicon night sights I have used.

They are not nearly as bright as any of my other tritium sights, from Trijicon or any other aftermarket night signts, they are just very dim in comparison

They may be made by Trijicon I am not aware of that, but they are clearly not the same quality as the higher end night sights they sell, or at least in my experience. I have Trijicon HD, the Bright and tough supressor, and the DI. All way brighter and easier to pick up in the dark, and also in daylight for some like the HD with its bright yellow or orange color surrounding the tritium in the front sight.

These are the Glock night sights I am talking about

I've never bought Glock night sights because they are 30-50% more than Trijicons or Meprolights. I don't mind paying for a better product, but not interested in brand taxes to get the same or lesser product.

After having all those shown, and a G17 G3 with factory nights sights (sold), Trijicon B&T white ring are my favorite, with Merpologht Tru Dots second. Green is supposed to be the longest life tritium colour, so that's my preference. I'm colour blind so green/yellow/orange are all the same to me.

i do not about the prices for gns when i purchased my g45 with irg they offered a very good deal on gns way less expensive than the other offers with tritium. im using as well a light when i need really so the trituim doesnt need to be on the higher end for my eyes and my training.

i will look into your trijicon white ring for a g17 and g48 if such an option exist ...

but thanks all for the ffedback.

could someone point me where i can find those great night sights for g48 and g17 gen5? in canada of course ...

Finally made a decision on sights, ordered a set of Trijicon fiber optic sights. Red f/o front sight and a blacked out rear, I’ve shot a friends Shadow with this style and it’s more to my liking than a night sight.

Quick update, got the front on but waiting to borrow a buddies rear sight tool. Will shoot it with the stock rear sight before I swap in the Trijicon rear sight to see if it corrects the high poi with the factory sights, the Trijicon front sight is taller than the stock glock front sight. So much nicer with the f/o than factory, will be modifying my 9mm’s front sight to take a f/o insert that’s for sure.

Yea, fibre optic front sights are where its at for a range gun, no arguments there. I'm having problems locating blacked out rear sights.
