glock site advice ???

I want to replace my glock 17 gen 4 sights and just wondering what people recommend? Thanks

Trijicon or TruGlo night sights are what I like

I use Trijicon yellow rears, green front, and have recently begun taking a red sharpie to the rears to dull them out a bit, and painting the front post day-glo orange with model paint.

Gives me a fast, easy to understand sight picture, day or night.

I just picked up a set of the Heinie ledge sights. I prefer a black rear with high vis front. I think I'll do the hi-vis orange stick to the front or high vis paint. Just waiting for my g19 to put them onto but I think they'll do just fine.

I bought a used, never installed set of Trijicon sights for my Gen4 Glock for around $80 on the EE and love them.

However, I have never tried anything else to compare them to either.

I have an AmeriGlo fibre optic front sight and Glock steel rear installed on my gun. Not the highest of high speed, but it works well for the conditions I actually shoot in, as opposed to the ones my imagination thinks up.

You should be impressed as long as you keep in mind that XS sights are not designed for uber precision work. They excel at being fast and when shooting at moving targets(or when you're moving).
