hey guys,

ive always wanted to chrome/nickel plate the slide of a glock. i have a G22 i use for IPSC production, so thats out (modding the finish)...but i have a G27 that i wouldnt mind doing.

Who does this? and how much can i expect to pay for a good job? im looking at the slide only, and leaving the black barrel, and the black slide cover plate. kind of a two-tone thing like in bad boys II.

lemme kno!

chris

NO! Don't do any sanding at all. All you need is metal polishing compound and a Dremel tool with a buffing wheel. It's a very gentle process. A light touch is all that's needed.

good thing i double checkd lol,

off questars site, im l ooking for that kinda silver but not so much a shiney chrome

Check out this one. It took the guy several hours and he used a 6" bench grinding machine with a buffing wheel attached. That, and a lot of blood, sweat, and tears. WOW:eek: Personally I think it's just a bit ostentatious. But then again, I've got a Gold Ti Desert Eagle so who am I to judge.:D
