Glock Trigger Spring

I love the NY1, but instead of removing the spring, I chop one end off so that the OAL of the spring is 7.2mm (vernier calipers just hold it in place, barely).

At 7.2mm, the spring is unsprung when the trigger-bar is at the 'trigger forward' position. The spring only starts to offer resistance as soon as the trigger begins moving rearward.

I like this as I figure it will prevent the plastic leaf-spring from sagging (if it were to ever sag).

Makes logical sense.
 
A little confused here. What can be done to a Glock pistol that will give, say a 3 pound trigger pull and do it crisply like in a tuned 1911. I know they are apples and oranges but I think you will know what I mean; a light crisp take off before one has, as VictorF says, time to flinch. Roger Katenko did a trigger job on both my Norcs, a 1911 and a TT-33. The 1911 is astonishingly accurate now. The TT-33 has always been so but now with a light trigger.
So the Glock?
 
A greased 3lb connector will get the weight ok, crisp is a different story. The design difference is too great between the two models and crisp cannot be matched to the 1911.

The original 3lb Connectors I had were Glock factory, though my stash has been depleted. Glock upped the weight to 3.5lb and discontinued the 3's. The 3.5 can be altered to lessen the weight.

I don't know who is currently importing the Fulcrum Trigger, but it might be worth a call to the manufacturer to find out.

To answer the original question, Sporteque has a lot of oem glock parts in stock. I have bought from them with no trouble.
 
I have a G17 and i bought all my parts from rockyourglock.com and there awesome...What i did to mine was a wolf trigger spring kit and the ghost 3.5 connector...I also polished all my internals...and I love the way it feels...I also tried the ny1 and didnt like it...so its sitting in my spare parts bin

PS I dont use the striker firing pin spring bcuz it was WAY to light for my liking, but u may like it....I just used the trigger spring and the striker safety spring

I did not like the "squishiness" take-up on the stock trigger on my g17.
After reading different opinions I installed a Glock 3.5lb connector aka (-) and a NY1 spring. The combo provides similar trigger weight as factory but the take-up is now much more "linear" (if that makes sense) and stacking is more predictable.
I don't think you can get a clean crisp break on a Glock like a 1911(without serious mods). However, the beauty of the Glock trigger is the reset feature. Once you find it and use it as designed it will improve accuracy and speed. YMMV
